As a bespoke table, the table is currently in its natural wood state and can be finished to client specifications, the most popular finish being a clear matt sealant. This finish preserves the natural look and colour of the elm adding protection from spillages and everyday use. The Normandy table

The Normandy table has an understated design derived from the early French farmhouse tables crafted in the Normandy region of Coutance, France. In their time, these were very basic tables designed for all purposes. We very often we stumble across period versions of these table that have clearly been used over the decades as trustworthy work horses rather than dining room tables.  Unfortunately, all too often, a typical width of an antique Normandy table tends to be on the narrow side. It is rare to find a width any greater than 76cm making for quite a tight seating arrangement, something that doesn’t always work depending on the type of occasion.

Enter the bespoke table…The bespoke Normandy table or bespoke oak trestle table give the flexibility of specifying an exact table size rather making do with something that’s nearly there but…just not quite right.
